Among Friends Receives Generous Gift from Power of 100 Women-River Falls

Among Friends is happy to share our great news. On April 9, 2026, we were chosen to receive funds from River Falls' Power of 100 Women. This group is composed of local women who want to make our community better by supporting local nonprofit organizations.

Our dementia social respite program is supported entirely by the modest fees families pay, grants, and individual donations. We are always looking for wonderful organizations who believe in our mission and are willing to support us.

Among Friends, since its beginning in 2017, has envisioned a vibrant program where participants are safe and find joy among caring staff and volunteers and other participants while caregivers are comforted knowing that they have a six hours on Tuesdays and on Thursdays that they can take care of themselves and do the things they need to do.
